• Verbal estimates are non-binding unless confirmed in a written work order or invoice
• You will be notified and asked for approval before any work exceeding the original estimate is performed

5.3 Authorization to Proceed

Work shall not commence until the Customer has provided clear verbal or written authorization to proceed based on the presented estimate or quote. By authorizing work, you agree to the scope, pricing, materials, and timeline outlined in the estimate or work order. Your authorization constitutes a binding agreement to pay for all completed work and materials as described.

5.4 Appointment Scheduling

When an appointment is scheduled, you agree to:

• Notify us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment (see Section 8)

Resort Anah Plumbing reserves the right to decline, refuse, or discontinue service at our sole discretion for any lawful reason, including but not limited to:

• Customer’s failure to provide adequate access, authorization, or cooperation
• Outstanding unpaid balances from previous service engagements
• Reasonable belief that the Customer has provided false or misleading information

We may accommodate service requests outside our standard coverage area on a case-by-case basis, which may be subject to additional travel fees, extended response times, or modified service terms.

7.1 Pricing

All pricing for plumbing services provided by Resort Anah Plumbing is determined on a per-project basis and depends on factors including but not limited to:

• Nature, type, and complexity of the plumbing issue or project
• Required labor hours and number of technicians needed
• Cost and quantity of materials, parts, fixtures, and equipment
• Accessibility and condition of the plumbing system
• Permit fees and inspection costs required by the City of Anaheim or Orange County
• Emergency or after-hours service requests
• Travel distance within our service area
• Environmental or hazardous material considerations
• Structural or excavation requirements

Prices listed on our website, social media platforms, or marketing materials are for general reference only and do not constitute binding quotes. Final pricing will be provided and agreed upon prior to the commencement of work.

7.2 Estimates

Estimates provided by Resort Anah Plumbing are good-faith approximations based on the information available at the time of assessment. You acknowledge and agree that:

• Estimates may change if the actual scope of work differs from the initial assessment
• Hidden or unforeseen conditions (such as concealed water damage, corroded pipes behind walls, root-infiltrated sewer lines, or structural issues) may necessitate additional work and costs beyond the original estimate
• You will be promptly informed of any significant changes to the estimated cost and given the opportunity to approve or decline additional work before it is performed
• Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise specified in writing
• Estimates do not include permit fees, inspection fees, or additional work required by municipal authorities unless explicitly stated

7.3 Payment Terms

Payment for all plumbing services is due upon completion of work unless alternative payment arrangements have been agreed upon in writing prior to the commencement of services. By engaging our services, you agree to the following payment terms:

• Payment Methods: We accept cash, personal checks, business checks, cashier’s checks, money orders, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), debit cards, and electronic payment methods as available
• Invoicing: An itemized invoice detailing all labor, materials, and charges will be provided upon completion of work
• Due Upon Completion: Unless otherwise agreed in writing, full payment is due at the time of service completion
• Deposits: For larger projects (including but not limited to bathroom remodeling, kitchen remodeling, whole-house repiping, sewer line replacement, or water damage restoration), a deposit may be required prior to ordering materials or scheduling the project. Deposit amounts and terms will be communicated in advance and documented in the work order
• Financing: Financing options may be available for qualifying customers on select services. Terms, interest rates, and eligibility will be discussed during the consultation process

7.4 Late Payments & Collections

If payment is not received by the agreed-upon due date:

• A late payment fee of 1.5% per month (18% per annum) or the maximum rate permitted by California law, whichever is less, may be applied to the outstanding balance
• We reserve the right to suspend, delay, or withhold further services until all outstanding balances are paid in full
• If the account remains delinquent for 30 days or more, we may refer the account to a third-party collections agency, and the Customer shall be responsible for all collection costs, including agency fees, attorney’s fees, court costs, and any other expenses incurred in the collection process
• A returned check fee of $35.00 will be applied for any check returned due to insufficient funds, stop payment, or closed account
• Unpaid balances may be reported to credit reporting agencies in accordance with applicable law
• Resort Anah Plumbing reserves the right to file a mechanic’s lien on the property in accordance with California Civil Code §8400 et seq. if payment for completed work is not received within the legally prescribed timeframe

7.5 Taxes

All quoted prices and estimates are exclusive of applicable sales tax, use tax, or other taxes unless specifically stated otherwise. The Customer is responsible for all applicable taxes as required by the State of California, Orange County, and the City of Anaheim.

8.1 Customer Cancellations

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel a scheduled appointment, please notify us as soon as possible:

If you need to reschedule an appointment, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. We will accommodate rescheduling requests to the best of our ability based on technician availability and scheduling capacity. Repeated rescheduling may result in a scheduling deposit requirement for future appointments.

8.3 Company Cancellations

Resort Anah Plumbing reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an appointment due to:

• Severe weather conditions, natural disasters, or unsafe driving conditions
• Technician illness, injury, or emergency
• Equipment failure or unavailability of required materials
• Emergency service calls requiring immediate priority response
• Force majeure events (see Section 21)

In the event we must cancel or reschedule, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and offer the earliest available alternative appointment at no additional cost.

8.4 Right to Cancel Under California Law

In compliance with the California Home Solicitation Sales Act (California Civil Code §1689.5 et seq.), if a plumbing service contract is entered into at your home as a result of an unsolicited visit by our representative, you may have the right to cancel the contract within three (3) business days of the transaction date. This right applies only to specific circumstances as defined by California law and does not apply to emergency service calls initiated by the Customer or services already substantially performed.

9.1 Workmanship Warranty

Resort Anah Plumbing stands behind the quality of our work. We provide a workmanship warranty on all plumbing services performed by our technicians. The specific duration and scope of the workmanship warranty may vary depending on the type of service performed and will be communicated to you at the time of service or documented in the work order/invoice. Our standard workmanship warranty covers defects in labor and installation for a period specified at the time of service, subject to the following conditions:

• The warranty applies only to work performed by Resort Anah Plumbing technicians
• The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, improper maintenance, acts of nature, or normal wear and tear
• The warranty does not cover pre-existing conditions, structural deficiencies, or issues unrelated to the work performed
• Warranty claims must be reported promptly by contacting Resort Anah Plumbing

9.2 Manufacturer Warranties

Parts, fixtures, appliances, and materials installed by Resort Anah Plumbing may be covered by separate manufacturer warranties. These warranties are provided by the respective manufacturers and are subject to the manufacturer’s terms, conditions, and limitations. Resort Anah Plumbing will assist customers in understanding and processing manufacturer warranty claims where applicable, but we are not the warrantor of third-party products and do not assume liability for manufacturer warranty coverage, exclusions, or denials.

9.3 Warranty Exclusions

Our warranties do not cover:

• Damage resulting from acts of God, natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, fires, or other force majeure events
• Damage caused by third parties, including other contractors, tenants, or unauthorized individuals
• Issues arising from the Customer’s failure to follow maintenance recommendations provided by our technicians
• Pre-existing plumbing conditions, defects, or deficiencies not addressed in the original scope of work
• Cosmetic damage unrelated to the performed plumbing work
• Damage resulting from chemical drain cleaners, unauthorized modifications, or non-standard plumbing practices
• Systems or components not serviced or installed by Resort Anah Plumbing
• Normal wear and tear, aging, or deterioration of plumbing components over time

9.4 Warranty Claim Process

We will evaluate the claim and schedule a follow-up inspection if necessary. Valid warranty claims will be resolved at no additional cost to the Customer within a reasonable timeframe.

Resort Anah Plumbing provides 24/7 emergency plumbing services to residential and commercial customers throughout Anaheim, CA, and our surrounding service areas. We understand that plumbing emergencies — including burst pipes, major water leaks, sewer backups, gas line leaks, overflowing toilets, water heater failures, and flooding — can occur at any time and require immediate professional attention.

10.2 Emergency Service Scope

Emergency services include but are not limited to:

• Burst pipe repair and water shut-off
• Active water leak detection and repair
• Sewer line backup and overflow response
• Gas line leak detection and emergency shut-off
• Water heater malfunction and emergency replacement
• Flooded basement or property water extraction coordination
• Frozen pipe thawing and repair
• Emergency drain clearing for sewage or wastewater backups
• Toilet overflow and emergency repair
• Slab leak emergency response

10.3 Emergency Pricing

Emergency and after-hours service calls may be subject to additional fees beyond our standard service rates. These fees account for the urgency of response, technician overtime, after-hours dispatch, and prioritized scheduling. Emergency service pricing will be communicated to you before any work begins, and your authorization will be obtained before proceeding. By requesting emergency services, you acknowledge and accept that emergency rates may apply.

10.4 Response Times

While Resort Anah Plumbing makes every reasonable effort to respond to emergency calls as quickly as possible, response times may vary depending on:

• Distance from the nearest available technician to the property
• Traffic, weather, and road conditions
• Severity and complexity of the emergency
• Time of day, weekend, or holiday status

We do not guarantee specific response times, but we are committed to dispatching a qualified technician to your location as promptly as circumstances allow.

11.1 Property Access

By scheduling plumbing services with Resort Anah Plumbing, you grant our technicians permission to access the areas of your property necessary to perform the requested services. This includes but is not limited to:

• Interior rooms (bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, basements, attics, utility rooms, mechanical rooms)
• Exterior areas (yards, driveways, sidewalks, crawl spaces, foundations, garden areas)
• Plumbing fixtures, water heater locations, water shut-off valves, sewer cleanouts, and utility connections
• Walls, floors, ceilings, and underground areas as required for leak detection, pipe repair, or installation

11.2 Customer Responsibilities

As the Customer, you are responsible for:

• Ensuring safe access to all work areas, free of hazards, obstructions, debris, and personal property that could impede our technicians’ work or safety
• Securing pets in a separate area away from the work zone for the safety of both your animals and our team
• Disclosing known hazards including but not limited to asbestos, lead paint, mold, structural damage, pest infestations, hazardous materials, or electrical issues that could affect the safety of our technicians
• Providing accurate information about the plumbing issue, property history, previous repairs, and any modifications made to the plumbing system
• Obtaining necessary approvals from landlords, property managers, homeowners associations (HOAs), or co-owners before authorizing plumbing work
• Clearing personal belongings from areas where work will be performed to prevent damage and allow adequate workspace
• Ensuring adequate parking for our service vans near the work location whenever possible
• Maintaining completed work according to recommendations provided by our technicians

11.3 Existing Property Conditions

Resort Anah Plumbing is not responsible for pre-existing conditions, including but not limited to deteriorated pipes, corroded fixtures, outdated plumbing systems, structural weaknesses, water damage predating our involvement, mold, asbestos, lead pipes, or code violations that existed prior to our engagement. While we will bring such conditions to your attention when discovered, remediation of pre-existing issues may require additional work and costs beyond the original scope.

11.4 Incidental Property Impact

Plumbing work may require cutting into walls, floors, ceilings, concrete, or landscaping to access pipes, drains, or other plumbing components. While our technicians exercise care to minimize disruption, some incidental impact is inherent to certain plumbing services. Unless specifically included in the written scope of work, Resort Anah Plumbing is not responsible for:

• Patching, repairing, or refinishing drywall, plaster, tile, flooring, or paint after plumbing work
• Restoring landscaping, concrete, asphalt, or paving disturbed during excavation
• Matching existing paint colors, tile patterns, flooring materials, or finishes
• Cosmetic restoration beyond the immediate plumbing repair area

If restoration services are desired, they may be quoted as a separate scope of work.

12.1 Building Permits

Certain plumbing projects may require permits from the City of Anaheim Building Division, Orange County, or other jurisdictional authorities as mandated by California state law, the California Plumbing Code, and local municipal codes. Resort Anah Plumbing will advise you when permits are required for your project.

• Permit fees are the responsibility of the Customer and are not included in service estimates unless explicitly stated
• We will assist in the permit application process and coordinate with local building inspectors as needed
• Work requiring permits will not proceed until all necessary permits have been obtained
• It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure that all required final inspections are completed

12.2 Code Compliance

All plumbing work performed by Resort Anah Plumbing is completed in accordance with applicable codes and regulations, including but not limited to:

• California Plumbing Code (CPC) — Title 24, Part 5
• California Building Code (CBC) — Title 24, Part 2
• Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC)
• City of Anaheim Municipal Code
• Orange County Building Division regulations
• California Health and Safety Code
• OSHA workplace safety standards
• EPA regulations (including lead-safe work practices under the EPA RRP Rule)

12.3 Code Upgrades

During the course of plumbing work, our technicians may discover existing plumbing components or systems that do not meet current code requirements. In such cases, we may be required by law to bring the affected components up to current code standards. Any code-required upgrades will be communicated to you with an explanation of the requirement and associated costs before the work is performed. Code-mandated upgrades are not optional and may be required to pass inspection and ensure the safety and legality of the plumbing system.
